INACTIVE --- New hope for patients progressing after first-line treatment for mUCa

Dorothy (71 years old)

Dorothy, a 71-year-old retired policewoman, underwent cystectomy for pT2N0M0 UCa of the bladder. Three years later, metastases to the lungs were discovered and she started gemcitabine + cisplatin, followed by avelumab maintenance therapy. Now 14 months after completing gemcitabine + cisplatin, she presents with new metastases.

Assessment summary:

  • ECOG PS: 1
  • CT scan reveals enlarged lesions in the lungs and new liver lesions
  • GFR: 60 ml/min
  • FGFR2/3 mutation status in diagnostic biopsy specimen: wild type
