Vincenzo, aged 74 years, enjoys spending time on his own little vineyard. He presents with mild right hip discomfort to his GP.

  • Medical history:
    • 5 years ago: RP for T2N0M0 PCa
    • 2 years ago: early prostate bed salvage RT without ADT for biochemical recurrence (PSA 0.22 ng/ml)
  • No relevant comorbidities
  • Otherwise fit
  • Plain X-ray: lytic bone lesion
  • PSA: 0.7 ng/ml
  • PSA-DT: 8 months

The patient was referred to an uro-oncologist.
