Bladder cancer
INACTIVE --- Immunotherapy: handling AEs and special populations

Elton (58 years old)

Elton, 58 years old, suffers from severe far-sightedness. The eyeglasses he had to wear were so hideous, he pimped his glasses by adding some sparkles to it. Life is always better with some sparkles.

Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with locally advanced bladder cancer with lung and liver metastases. He is on first-line treatment with cisplatin plus gemcitabine.

The first follow-up scan after the 4th cycle shows progressive disease.

  • Medical history: hypertension
  • CT scan of chest, abdomen and pelvis: diffuse liver and lung metastases
  • ECOG PS: 0
  • Glomerular filtration rate (GFR): 75 ml/min
  • PD-L1: low
  • FGFR2/3 mutation status in diagnostic biopsy specimen: wild type
