Toni (64 years old)

Toni, a 64-year-old non-binary person, has had enough of cold, rainy weather. Their life-long dream was to pack up and move to a more southern place, where the sun always shines and temperatures don’t fall below 20°C. Before setting off on their journey, they went for a check-up with a general physician because of fatigue.

  • Large renal tumour on the left side
  • 3 liver and 2 bone lesions suspicious for metastases (confirmed by liver biopsy)
• Blood work: elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate, otherwise normal
