Rebecca (59 years old)

Rebecca is a 59-year-old scientist and was diagnosed with HER2+ metastatic breast cancer 6 years ago.

• No relevant comorbidities
• Prior systemic treatments:
  • Paclitaxel + trastuzumab + pertuzumab
  • T-DM1
  • Trastuzumab + capecitabine
  • Trastuzumab + lapatinib
• Prior local treatment (brain):
  • 5 times SRS at different time points
  • WBRT 1 year after the last SRS
• ECOG PS: 1
• PET-scan after 6 months of trastuzumab + lapatinib: partial response of the metastatic visceral disease (liver and lung), but a new brain metastasis
• New local treatment of brain metastasis not feasible based on previous radiation treatments
