Maria (48 years old)

Maria is a 48-year-old lady who is the shining star of a big opera house. Last month she gave an extraordinary performance as queen of the night in the opera “The Magic Flute”. She is extremely concerned about her appearance. When she felt a lump in her right breast, she got very anxious. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

  • Medical history: obesity, mild hypertension
  • ECOG PS: 0
  • Tumour size: cT2 (28 mm), lymph node status: cN1
  • Tumour biology: ER 0%, PgR 0%, HER2 IHC 3+, G3
  • CT scan chest/abdomen and bone scan: cM0
  • Surgical and radiation therapy is planned
    • Placement of marker in the tumour and positive axillary node for the surgery
