Luther (62 years old)

Luther is a 62-year-old police officer, who is always outside regulating everyday traffic. Luckily, he lives in a sunny, but not too hot place, with limited rainy days. He loves his job!

He was diagnosed with high-grade NMIBC and underwent 6 cycles of BCG therapy. At follow-up cystoscopy, a tumour was found at the bladder neck.

Assessment summary:

  • Maximal TURBT, visually complete
  • Pathological review:
    • Progression to MIBC, minimal pT2 UCa
    • Unifocal, no concomitant CIS
  • Imaging: suggestive for cT2 cN0 cM0
  • Ultrasound: hydronephrosis
  • eGFR: 70 ml/min
  • No peripheral neuropathy
  • No hearing impairment
  • ECOG PS: 0
  • Cardiac ejection fraction: 60%
  • No relevant medical history
  • No voiding symptoms
