Initial treatment of MIBCLuther (62 years old)
Luther is a 62-year-old police officer, who is always outside regulating everyday traffic. Luckily, he lives in a sunny, but not too hot place, with limited rainy days. He loves his job!
He was diagnosed with high-grade NMIBC and underwent 6 cycles of BCG therapy. At follow-up cystoscopy, a tumour was found at the bladder neck.
Assessment summary:
- Maximal TURBT, visually complete
- Pathological review:
- Progression to MIBC, minimal pT2 UCa
- Unifocal, no concomitant CIS
- Imaging: suggestive for cT2 cN0 cM0
- Ultrasound: hydronephrosis
- eGFR: 70 ml/min
- No peripheral neuropathy
- No hearing impairment
- ECOG PS: 0
- Cardiac ejection fraction: 60%
- No relevant medical history
- No voiding symptoms
