Man, 67 years old

Man, 67 years old, has an active career working as a lawyer. He's a dedicated grandparent to 2 young grandchildren (2 and 4 years old), and he enjoys cycling and plays in an orchestra.

Unfortunately, he is recently diagnosed with de novo mHSPC.

  • Medical history: type 2 diabetes mellitus, under control with atorvastatin and metformin
  • ECOG PS: 0
  • PSA: 13 ng/ml
  • Lab values: normal
  • Prostate biopsy: ISUP grade group 4 (Gleason score 4+4)
  • Bone scan: 11 bone metastases (4 on the spine, 3 in the pelvis, 3 in the left ribs, 1 in left femur), no visceral metastases
  • CT scan: locally advanced prostatic mass, few positive pelvic LNs, no visceral metastases
  • No targetable germline or somatic mutations detected
  • The patient is chemotherapy-fit and will receive triplet therapy
