Mel, a 67-year-old erotic novel-writer (using a pseudonym of course), goes to the doctor because of severe lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). He is newly diagnosed with PCa.
- No medical history
- No comorbidities, no longer sexually active
- T3a N0 M0 based on CT and bone scan
- ISUP grade 4 group (Gleason score 4+4)
- PSA 23 ng/ml
He declines surgery and prefers to have external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) instead. Neo-adjuvant and concurrent ADT treatment is started.
