Treatment of low and intermediate-risk PCaRoger (78 years old)
Roger is a retired community worker who likes to entertain his grandchildren with magic tricks. He’s a heavy smoker of 78 years and his gourmandizing life style has resulted in moderate liver disease limiting his life expectancy. Recently, he was diagnosed with localised PCa.
Summary of diagnostic findings:
- PSA: 13.3 ng/ml
- Prostate biopsy: 6/12 positive cores, ISUP grade 2 [Gleason score (GS) 3+4]
- Clinical stage: cT2b
- MRI findings: extra-capsular (T3)
