Anton (76 years old)

Anton, 76 years old, enjoys organising high tea parties. His friends love them, he always presents the sweetest and most colourful macarons with the tea.

He initially presented with UCa of the bladder with lung metastases and was treated with gemcitabine + carboplatin. After 6 cycles of chemotherapy, he has now progressive disease.

Assessment summary:

  • ECOG PS: 0
  • No peripheral neuropathy
  • No hearing impairment
  • Glomerular filtration rate (GFR): 35 ml/min
  • Haemoglobin: 11.8 g/dl
  • CT scan reveals worsening of lung and new liver metastases
  • FGFR2/3 mutation status in diagnostic biopsy specimen: activating FGFR3 mutation
