  • Rheumatoid arthritis controlled with methotrexate
  • Thoracoabdominal and pelvic CT scan: right kidney tumour of 5 cm without LN involvement

He underwent radical nephrectomy of the right kidney 6 weeks ago.

Pathological findings:

  • pT3a tumour of 6 cm, renal vein invasion
  • WHO/ISUP grade 4 ccRCC
  • Tumour necrosis present
  • No sarcomatoid features
  • Negative surgical margins

The patient has recovered after surgery and comes to you for check-up. No metastatic lesions were identified on post-surgery CT scan.
