NEW --- Treatment approaches for patients diagnosed with (very) high-risk NMIBCLudvik (78 years old)
Ludvik, a 78-year-old and otherwise healthy man, enjoys fixing and restoring antique clocks. Unfortunately, he presented with macroscopic haematuria, which led to the diagnosis of high-risk NMIBC.
Assessment summary:
- No relevant medical history
- ECOG PS: 1
- Cystoscopy: papillary tumour of 4 cm at the left bladder wall
- Urine cytology: negative for HG UCa (according to the Paris system)
- Conventional TURBT, resection visually complete, pathological review:
- pTa HG
- Pure UCa
- No LVI
- No muscle in specimen
- CT urography: cN0, no concomitant upper tract tumour
