Ludvik (78 years old)

Ludvik, a 78-year-old and otherwise healthy man, enjoys fixing and restoring antique clocks. Unfortunately, he presented with macroscopic haematuria, which led to the diagnosis of high-risk NMIBC.

Assessment summary:

  • No relevant medical history
  • ECOG PS: 1
  • Cystoscopy: papillary tumour of 4 cm at the left bladder wall
  • Urine cytology: negative for HG UCa (according to the Paris system)
  • Conventional TURBT, resection visually complete, pathological review:
    • pTa HG
    • Pure UCa
    • No LVI
    • No muscle in specimen
  • CT urography: cN0, no concomitant upper tract tumour
