55-year-old Anita loves tea, and especially enjoys tea parties with her friends from her flower arranging class. She was diagnosed with papillary RCC (pRCC).

Assessment summary:

  • Medical history: dyslipidemia (controlled by statins)
  • CT scan: left renal mass, retroperitoneal adenopathy and 4 cm hepatic nodule
  • Renal biopsy: type 2 pRCC
  • ECOG PS: 1
  • KPS: 80%
  • Blood work:
    • Haemoglobin: 10.7 g/dl (12-13 g/dl)
    • Neutrophils: 6.2x109/l (2.0-7.0x109/l)
    • Platelets: 255x109/l (150-400x109/l)
    • Calcium: 9.1 mg/dl (8.5-10.2 mg/dl)
    • LDH: 250 U/l (135-225 U/l)
