Mason (67 years old)

Mason, 67 years old and otherwise healthy, enjoys creating postcards. He always uses a lot of glitter, coloured feathers and gold- or silver-coloured pens. His final touch is a hint of perfume.

He underwent TURBT of a papillary tumour at the right bladder wall, which was detected during a cystoscopic examination for painless haematuria.

Early post-TURBT situation

• Resection visually complete
• Papillary tumour of 2 cm with a visual appearance suggesting a low-stage, LG superficial tumour

The patient received 1 immediate chemotherapy instillation. The pathology report indicates a pTa LG tumour (no muscle in specimen, no lymphovascular invasion [LVI]).
