NEW --- Treatment approaches for patients diagnosed with (very) high-risk NMIBCChristoph (69 years old)
Christoph, 69 years old and deeply enthusiastic about cricket, presented with frequent urination and painless haematuria.
Assessment summary:
- Medical history: hypertension
- ECOG PS: 0
- Cystoscopy: 1 papillary tumour of 4 cm at the left bladder wall
- Urine cytology: HG UCa (according to the Paris system)
- Conventional TURBT: resection visually complete, pathological review:
- pT1 HG
- Pure UCa
- Unifocal, no concomitant CIS
- No LVI
- Muscle in specimen
- CT urography: cN0, no concomitant upper tract tumour
He underwent a second TURBT, which revealed no residual papillary tumour.
