Adverse pathology at radical prostatectomy

Brian (64 years old)

Brian is 64-year old roof tiler who participates in outdoor archery competitions in his spare time. He underwent RP + ePLND for high-risk PCa (PSA 34.4 ng/ml, cT2c, biopsy ISUP grade group 3 [GS 4+3]). At RP adverse features were found:

  • SM+
  • ECE (pT3)

There was no SVI, there were no positive LNs and the pathological ISUP grade group was 3 [GS 4+3]. After RP PSA was undetectable. Brian is otherwise healthy and has no comorbidities.
