Case 1: Steven (67 years old)

Steven, 67 years old, recently retired from his job as a salesman. While some of his colleagues found him a bit arrogant, he maintained the highest sales figures of the entire company until his retirement. Steven is newly diagnosed with PCa.

Assessment summary:

  • Asymptomatic (IPSS 5)
  • Prostate volume: 40 ml
  • T2bN0M0 based on DRE, MRI and bone scan
  • Prostate biopsy: ISUP grade 4 (Gleason score 4+4)
  • PSA: 23 ng/ml
  • No comorbidities
  • Currently not sexually active

He opts to undergo external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) ± ADT.
