Fiona, 73 years old, loves to play the piano for her grandchild, a skill she gained during her career as a music teacher. She consults her doctor because of haematuria.

Assessment summary:

  • ECOG PS: 0
  • BMI: 33
  • Papillary tumour at posterior wall
  • Ultrasound: no hydronephrosis
  • Normal renal function, cisplatin eligible
  • Maximal TURBT:
    • pT1 micropapillary UCa (>10%)
    • Muscle in specimen
    • Lymphovascular invasion (LVI)
    • Unifocal, no concomitant CIS
