55-year-old Anita loves tea, and especially enjoys tea parties with her friends from her flower arranging class. She was diagnosed with metastatic papillary RCC (pRCC).
Assessment summary:
- Medical history: dyslipidaemia (controlled by statins), no contra-indications to ICI or VEGFR-TKI therapy
- CT scan: left renal mass, retroperitoneal adenopathy and 4 cm hepatic nodule – cT3bN1M1
- Renal biopsy: pRCC, WHO/ISUP grade 2
- ECOG PS: 2 (asthenia)
- KPS: 70%
- Blood work:
- Haemoglobin: 10.7 g/dl (12-13 g/dl)
- Neutrophils: 6.2x109/l (2.0-7.0x109/l)
- Platelets: 255x109/l (150-400x109/l)
- Calcium: 9.1 mg/dl (8.5-10.2 mg/dl)
- LDH: 250 U/l (135-225 U/l)
