Lucy (66 years old)

Lucy is a 66-year-old pianist. Although she doesn’t play on stage anymore, she likes to entertain her guests playing her favourite pieces.

She underwent TURBT of a 1 cm papillary tumour at the right bladder wall, which was detected during a cystoscopic examination for painless haematuria.

Assessment summary:

  • No relevant medical and family history
  • TURBT followed by 1 immediate chemotherapy instillation
  • Pathology report:
    • Resection visually complete
    • pTa LG tumour
    • Muscle in specimen
