Prostate cancer
Finding the right ADT for the right patient

Christopher (66 years old)

Christopher is a 66-year-old plumber who likes to go swimming in his free time. Even the winter cold doesn’t stop him from doing a weekly dip in the pond. Unfortunately, he is newly diagnosed with PCa.

Assessment summary:

  • No relevant medical history
  • T2bN0M0 based on DRE, MRI and bone scan
  • Prostate biopsy: ISUP grade 4 (Gleason score 4+4)
  • PSA: 19 ng/ml
  • No comorbidities, asymptomatic
  • Sexually active and extremely concerned about erectile function

He opts to undergo EBRT ± ADT.
