INACTIVE --- New hope for patients progressing after prior treatment for mUCaMagnus (76 years old)
Magnus is a 76-year-old retired firefighter. He has a history of chronic kidney disease associated with hypertension. He initially presented with UCa of the bladder with metastases in the lungs and was treated with gemcitabine + carboplatin. After 6 cycles of chemotherapy, he has now progressive disease.
Assessment summary:
- ECOG PS: 2
- No peripheral neuropathy
- No hearing impairment
- GFR: 35 ml/min
- Haemoglobin: 9.8 g/dl
- CT scan reveals worsening of lung and new liver metastases
- FGFR2/3 mutation status in diagnostic biopsy specimen: activating FGFR3 mutation
