Jean (73 years old)

73-year-old Jean noticed that he is getting more tired after gardening than he used to be. Also, he recently suffers from lower leg oedema.

Assessment summary:

• ECOG PS: 1
• KPS: 100% 6 weeks ago, now 80%
• CT scan:
  • Large renal tumour on the right side with thrombus in the vena cava up to the level of the diaphragm with no vena cava wall involvement
  • 3 small lung lesions, suspicious for metastases
• Blood work: normal
